Nanna Dear Jesus I pray to you today, to ask something of you, To find our Nanna in heaven and give her a message from us. Please find her and stand next to her and help her understand How much we really loved her and that when she passed we all tried to hold her hand. Please tell her that we will remember her for all the love she gave And how in everything she did she was always so very brave We ask you to look after her whilst she is in your care And that we will try and talk to her every day by sending up a prayer We also want to thank her for all her love and support She always tried to help us when things got a bit fraught She took us all on our holidays and helped look after our young However we always knew any misbehaviour would result in her sharp tongue Nanna we have so many memories of you that we will never ever forget We just wish you were here one last time just to see how much you really meant Our Nanna, so kind so loyal and strong In our hearts forever is where you will belong.
